It’s been a crazy week so far but I want to make sure that I share my thoughts on my latest read before the week is out- The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. I started to read it last week on the train ride back from NYC and really loved it!
The Art of Racing in the Rain is a really a wonderful novel. This book, like a few other books out there is told from the perspective of the family dog (Enzo in this book). Readers who love their pets will be particularly drawn to this book. But even those who aren’t big animal lovers will still appreciate it. It is about family, love, loyalty and faith. The family in this book faces a number of challenges but find the strength to face these obstacles with Enzo by their side. It is a bit sad at times but filled with wonderful life lessons. I have to admit, there are only a few books out there that can make me cry and this one did it. A good cry that is! Paws up to The Art of Racing in the Rain!
Side note: In case you are wondering about the pic above – yes, those spots came from Chunyo’s slobber – yuck!

This is one of my favorite books! Even my husband (who usually only reads sci-fi) loved it.

Great pose Chunyo,
My Mum has that book, but only got half way, cos she knows it’s gonna get sad and is putting off the rest of the book, she was the same with Marley & Me and didn’t finish that either….. 🙂
Have a fun day buddy,
Snoopy 🙂

Loved that book too! Someone gave it to me after my cat passed away last year, but I wasn’t able to read it until recently.
