Tug, Shake, Squeak and Snuggle…

Like our pal at According to Gus, we recently ordered something from Barking Deals.  And what a deal it was – we ordered a KONG® Tugger Knots toy for $6.99 (with free shipping). This toy is great – dogs can tug at it, shake it, make it squeak and snuggle with it too.

Unfortunately, Chunyo has a bad track record. He destroys some of  his toys (and beds too). But this one, I am happy to report has survived his rough antics.  In fact, he often spends time snuggling with it (which probably defeats the purpose) – but I guess he and the monkey have bonded 🙂 Whatever makes him happy, I say!  

You mean I can shake, tug, squeeze and lay with it?!? Now, that's what I'm talking about!

So based on our experience – it’s a winner. Of course, the 50% off from Barking Deals definitely made it worth a try! If you aren’t signed up already, try it out.  

Oh, did I forget to mention - I can use him as a pillow too :)?

7 Things about Chunyo and his family.

1. We had two female dogs before Chunyo came into our lives – a sweet Pomeranian and Shih Tzu. They passed away at 14 and 13.

2.We have 3 other dogs in our immediate family – a schnauzer, a minature pincher mix, and a  Chihuahua (ALL BOYS!)

3. We like to travel. In fact, we have been to the  Philippines, Costa Rica, Portugal, Spain and Greece in the last few years. This year, we want to do a few short trips with Chunyo in tow.

4. Chunyo did not complete his first training class successfully – he clowned around way too much.  BUT he finished his second training course with flying colors (great teacher helped!).

5. Chunyo was potty trained right away.  In fact, he would always cry as a puppy to go outside. Maybe 2 accidents when he was sick, that’s it!  HIS GIFT!

6. Chunyo used to hate the puppy paparazzi!  He’s gotten a lot better about the camera. Yummy treats help, of course.

7. Chunyo knows how to open doors! Yes, he often breaks into the office 😦 It’s a constant battle at our house.

Puplove is hosting a great get to know you blog hop.  We are new to the blogging world sow e thought this was a great way to get to know other dog bloggers. How we met: We received Chunyo from a family at 8 weeks. He was one of four. My husband and Chunyo bonded right away.
Best trick: Chunyo knows how to sit, lay, roll over, and give you his paw. He also knows how to fetch but is a little selfish so he often thinks twice before handing back his toys 🙂
Favorite toy: Chunyo has his own toy box full of balls and fuzzy toys. His fav – his fleece slipper.
Best Friend: Chunyo LOVES the neighborhood kids. In fact, he sits at the window whining to go outside and play. And they come look for him too.
Worst Enemy: He has none. Chunyo is super friendly and likes everyone. While he’s moody with us sometimes, he is quite the gentleman with everyone else.
